Get on yer boots!

U2 – Get On Your Boots (Justice Remix)

Bonus: Tiga – What You Need (The Proxy Remix)

Here’s another remix I decided to post up along with Justice, bceause when I first heard it in my DropBox, I thought another Justice remix had leaked. The analogue bass samples, the chopped synths, it’s totally Justice’s style. Props to Mister Nô from France…

The Elderberries – Lost My Way (Mr. Nô Remix)

April Fool’s Day & April Promo Mix

Bet I got you, kiddos… April Fool’s Day! No worries, everything’s perfectly fine over here. (DMCA‘s a pain in the ass, though.) As you might’ve guessed, the Fake Blood remix of Darude’s Sandstorm was fake as well, some users on Erol Alkan‘s forum started this joke a few days ago. Lots of other blogs ripped it off without even noticing it was a joke, it has even reached #2 (!) on hypem. Epic comments, 148 as I’m tying. Really did keep me entertained the last two days.

Thank you so much for all the friendly comments and messages on mySpace, you guys totally reminded my why I love what I’m doing. Nice to know how many people out there were actually worried, thanks for all your love. To make up for fooling you twice, here’s my latest promo mix, featuring tracks that were sent to me during the last few weeks. I was a bit in a hurry because I’m in my final year at school, let me know what you think:

Disco Trash Music – Neon Disco (Alex Gopher Red Remix)
From Monument To Masses – Beyond God & Elvis (Felix Cartal Remix)
SXNDRGS – Chrome Depot (Original Mix)
John Roman – Who’s Afraid Of Cornelius?
The Prodigy – Take Me To The Hospital (Hostage Remix)
Freeland – Under Control (Alex Metric Remix)
Basshunter – Now You’re Gone (Clockwork Remix)
The Bloody Beetroots – Warp 7.7 (feat. Steve Aoki)
Bunny Lake – The Very Last Party (Christopher Just Remix)
Dan Sena – Italofucker (LAZRtag Remix)
Phoenix – 1901 (Build Remix)

Disco Demons – April 2009 Promo Mix

The Disco Demons party continues: Our friend Louie from the Disco Villains hooked me up with their latest remix, couldn’t post it up earlier, otherwise I would’ve ruined my joke…

Bonus: MSTRKRFT – Bounce (The Disco Villains Remix)

Greetings from Switzerland: Johnny rocks the Caesars! (No worries, that background music on the blog will not last forever, but I really like it right now…)

Disco Demons being taken down

Sorry kiddos, guess that’s gonna be my last post ever here on Disco Demons. Just received a mail from blogger, telling me that they’re gonna take down my blog within the next 24 hours for repeated violations of copyright laws (DMCA).
Anyway, you can stay in contact via mySpace or FaceBook, I’ll drop a note in case I’ll ever start a new blog. Thanks for all your love and support, you always reminded me why I was putting so much effort in this great blog.

Here’s the last track I’m gonna post up, guess it’s more than appropriate.

best,
Jakob

The Doors – The End
