Amazing (and official) N.A.S.A. remix by Dim Mak’s Dan Sena. Love how the track starts with a gentle piano, climaxing after a few minutes when a massive distorted synth kicks in. According to Dan, he’s got another N.A.S.A. remix in the making, a dubstep version of A Volta. We’ll see.
Again Dim Mak Records: Felix Cartal’s Skeleton, turned into a straight up bass monster by John Roman. The dark, aggressive sound makes me think of The Proxy or Polymorphic.
In order to be a hip music blogger, I have to join the hype, I suppose, so here you are, kiddos: Two low-bitrate previews of Boys Noize’s upcoming album. The rest of the album is dope, too, although I like Oi Oi Oi better, to be honest. Stay tuned!
Hiya kiddos, here’s something special for those of you living in Canada: Neither are they Japanese nor Popstars: UK-based producers The Japanese Popstars have been getting a lot of attention lately, thanks to their critically acclaimed debut album We Just Are.
On Thursday, June 4, 2009 they will be performing at The Social in Toronto, Canada, presented by 4Play Entertainment in association with Embrace & Disco Demons. The night is going to be opened by local Toronto DJ Kay Gee, doors open at 10pm. RSVP: FaceBook.
Now it’s getting interesting for you: Disco Demons is giving away TWO FREE TICKETS for the show. All you have to do is to email me at discodemons@gmail.com with “TORONTO” in the subject line, telling me your full name which I will then put on the guestlist. Winners will be announced on Monday, June 1. Good luck!
Always interesting to see how up and coming artists develop after being featured on blogs. French producer Mr. Nô is a good example: I first featured him about a month ago, now he’s remixing tracks for Citizen Records. Next sunday he’s even going to play a show with Vitalic… amazing! Here’s another awesome remix by Mr. Nô, this time for a French pop band called Bolik. It again reminds me of Justice, the synths in the background make me think of Planisphère. If you haven’t had the chance to check out his first remix, click here.

I’ve been really lazy recently, spending most of my time outside or somewhere in the water. Weather is perfect, it’s been hot for days. I just had to post up Tiga’s Hot In Here, it fits my current mood very well. Don’t think I have to introduce Tiga, y’all should know him by now.
Tiga – Hot In Here Totally forgot to check my DropBox for about a week, so here are some tracks I just discovered, including a remix of Supermode’s Tell Me Why by Aerotronic from Belgium and a banging track by Dutch producer Jaimie Fanatic: Programmed, a massive killer track which I’m really in love with right now.
Supermode – Tell Me Why (Aerotronic Remix) Jaimie Fanatic – Programmed Plus another awesome remix I discovered last weekend at the Kavinsky / Busy P show: promoter and supporting DJ Pola-Riot dropped a remix of Haddaway’s What Is Love. When I asked him whose remix this was, I was surprised to find out that we were talking about DJ Barletta. This is definitely something to bang your heads to later tonight, kiddos!
He was busy touring the globe and producing bombs for US artists and Gonzales…Now the boss is back home with a 2-track-appetizer for his upcoming new album, which will be relased in late fall.
BOYS NOIZE presents his first new tracks on BNR, 2 Bangers to destroy the summer festivals!
The single is a double-A-salute featuring “Starter”, a classic BOYS NOIZE banger in Oi style, and “Jeffer” an all-time-fresh-summer-disco-hammer to fall in love with. BOYS NOIZE will be around at Benicassim, Rock Werchter, Lollapalozza, Frequency, Camp Bestival, Creamfields UK, Melt!, Arras, Lowlands to name a few and for sure be playing somewhere near you!!
Dim Mak Records‘s Japanese artist Shinichi Osawa has some hard hitting beats that will make your head nod and big booty shake. He’s a composer, DJ, musician and producer. You know that saying “I’m big in Japan”, well, Osawa really is big in Japan. His latest release The One is now available on CD/vinyl/digitally.
Osawa will be hitting Electric Daisy Carnival for the 2nd consecutive year on Friday June 26th along with Boys Noize, Fake Blood, Le Castle Vania and more on the neonGARDEN stage!
Dim Mak is giving away 2 pairs of tickets to this night for you and a friend!
