Hey kiddos, I’m giving away one of these glowing equalizer T-Shirts in cooperation with NiteLifeDesigns, your new favorite online retailer selling all kinds of rave lights, glow sticks and light-up T-shirts. As these guys are currently only shipping to the United States, this giveaway is US only. If you want to go clubbing wearing a glowing equalizer that actually bounces to the music, just email me at discodemons@gmail.com , subject line SHIRT – I will pick a random name within two weeks.
One last track before the weekend: Amazing remix of Röyksopp’s Tricky Tricky by Hungarian electro duo Tits & Clits. I really love how this track is growing and building up tension for more than one minute. Hope y’all gonna have a nice weekend – will be spinning at a CD release party of a local up and coming alternative rock band tonight.
Here’s a recommendation just in case you happen to live in Vienna and you still don’t know what to do next Saturday, November 14: Stereo Total will be playing live at Fluc club, bringing their whole amazing weirdness and electro-pop-glory with them.
NROTB are definitely an outfit to keep an eye on: Their upcoming Droplet EP which will be released by the end of the year, featuring remixes by the likes of Felix Cartal and Autoerotique (former VNDLSM), will be huge, judging by the remixes these guys send over from time to time. Here’s their latest work, an unique take on Drop The Lime’s Set Me Free with an amazing, mind-blowing synth rising in the middle of the track.
Next one in line is John Roman, one of the most promising up and coming producers out there at the moment. His reworks are always over the top, been spinning a lot of his stuff for some time now. Here’s his latest remix, his “new opener. Herve meets Duck Sauce.”, as he describes the track. Epic break-down after 1 minutes 40 seconds of desperately waiting for some bass.
Last but not least I’ve got a track by a rather unknown producer called Snake Charmer. I have little to no information on this guy, but he happened to send over a track called In The House Of Alex that sounds more than promising to me – it’s constantly evolving, the sounds keep changing all the time. Will definitely drop this next weekend!
Wow, that was fast: A few hours after I asked for the name of that track, I got dozens of @replies on Twitter, comments on the blog post and even some messages on Facebook. The track is was looking for is called Insane, by Maurizio Gubellini. Thank you for helping me out so quickly!
So I went to a club in Switzerland a few weeks ago and there was this DJ playing that sick track (see above video). When I asked him about the name of the track, he didn’t want to tell me. Fortunately, I was still sober enough to tape the track on my mobile – does anyone know the name of that track?
Good news, kiddos: My buddy Dirty Disco Youth just sent over a special treat for all of you, the latest mix he did for Oh my god, it’s techno music. Packed with the hottest dirty disco stuff, this mix is definitely a nice trip to listen to. Looking forward to spinning with him in December.
