Vomit In Style
Of course I could start raving about how this EP kills me (and is going to kill dancefloors all over the world from July 5 onwards), but let’s just cut that crap and say that Mixhell, Les Petits Pilous, Don Rimini and VNNR all simply puked out some remixes for The Subs‘ latest EP Vomit In Style. In order to get an idea of what I’m talking about you can not only stream the entire release on SoundCloud but also exclusively download a dub mix of Bang Bang Bang here:

The Teenagers
My favourite frenchies The Teenagers just released a brand new song, along with an incredibly clever marketing concept: Made Of, their first release since the band’s 2008 debut album, can be downloaded for free – all you have to do is to “pay with a tweet”. As I don’t want to spoil the fun, you can only preview the song here – in order to get the free download you need to pay with a tweet.
Tell Me Why
Here’s another confession to my secret love for cheesy commercial house songs that I can now fully act out without having to hide in my basement thanks to Belgian electro outfit Aerotronic. To be honest, I already posted this remix more than a year ago, but I decided it needs a re-post, to make sure every last fucking one of you (does quoting Pulp Fiction make me even cooler?) is nodding their heads to it, pretending not to like it but still jumping around like a lunatic from 1:28 onwards.

For those of you who really are clinical enough to still have their asses glued to their chairs, here’s one of their latest remixes:

You better be dancing now!
Dom De Phony
DJs track down greatness in music
and squeeze it together.
Like a master chef,
who picks just one perfect cherry from each tree,
to make his pie,
a DJ condenses the work and talent
of hundreds of musicians
into a single concentrated performance.
DJs bring all the right things together;
that’s why we love them so much.
Guess who’s back
I know this one’s a few days old as I’ve been on vacation the past ten days (yes, I somehow survived living without internet connection), but I think it’s more than appropriate to celebrate the glorious return of Disco Demons – just take a wet towel and wipe off the dust, then it’ll be good again, I promise. I’m still in the process of catching up with a four-digit number of unread emails (not joking here), but this remix needs to be shared right now: The perfect soundtrack for a hot summer day, celebrating life at the beach – or in a packed club. I’m not going to start beating around the bush now, so crank up the volume and give your neighbours some proper Disco Demons electro treatment!

à bientôt
Good morning rainy Monday-morning-world, just stopping by to let you know that I’m on a trip until June 23, so I might be posting up music only sporadically, as my internet connection here is quite slow. In the meantime, I highly recommend checking my official vacation replacement dancendancen.com to make sure you’re gonna get your daily dose of electronic dance music. Here’s my contribution for today, this one should make your heads bounce until at least Friday. Take care you all, bye for now.

Swoon
I’m not gonna waste my time (and yours) trying to explain how pleased I was to see this gem in my inbox, how I immediately fell in love with it, how it totally made my day, how it made me dancing in front of my MacBook (in fact, I still am), how I’ve been listening to it about ten times in a row, how I’m listening and dancing again, as I’m typing, how the drop at about 2:00 is killing me again and again, how it made me want to see the Chemical Brothers live right now, how I want to kiss Blaze Tripp‘s shoes, and how much I love the Chemical Brothers in general. I promise, I wont.

Tonton Funk
Whoa, guess what my all-time favorite label Citizen Records just dropped in my inbox: An unreleased remix of Teenage Bad Girl‘s latest track titled Tonton Funk, taked from their upcoming second studio album. Alongside with remixes by Toxic Avenger and Franz & Shape, Boys Noize Records’ very own Les Petits Pilous have done their best to give the new french touch anthem even more old-school dance ambience by adding vintage organ sounds and high-pitched lead synths. The reason why I’m telling you this is because Citizen Records are feeling generous today and have given me permission to share said remix with you all in its full 320kbps glory – don’t sleep on that one! (Also, the EP has the best cover artwork I’ve seen in a while – click on the above image for higher resolution).

Kontact Me
While the majority of the world was peacefully and unsuspectingly sleeping in their beds last night, Berlin-based electro insomniacs The Sexinvaders were working on an evil DJ weapon to destroy dancefloors all over the world: Here’s their banging bootleg remix of Boys Noize’s latest single Kontact Me, fresh from the oven – grab it while it’s hot.
