Here’s one for you, beloved audiophile insomniacs: My latest discovery comes from Los Angeles, is 22 years old, goes by the name of Mikezilla and says of himself he’s producing electro-esque music, as he likes to stray from the path that the electro genre has set.

Here are two of his tracks that immediately caught my attention when browsing the daily loads of incoming music on SoundCloud and made me believe in love at first listen again (I’ve had these two on repeat for the past hour, not joking). While Metric’s Gold Guns Girls turns out to be a trippy synth pop song with catchy vocals that will make you forget about tomorrow’s exam and put a smile on your face instead, Phil Selway’s Beyond Reason is the perfect soundtrack for wishing the night would never end.
