Haezer – Yasi EP

Cyclone Yasi, a storm that media outlets referred to as ‘the state’s worst cyclone in history’, hit Australia at the same time as Haezer! While on tour down-under earlier this year, Haezer wrote the track and named this ferocious banger after the brutal storm that inspired it.

After having shared stages with Haezer two times this year, this is not exactly what I had expected from the South African king of hard electro. Both the title track Yasi (featuring Circe, a regular guest singer on Haezer’s tracks) and especially the B-side Joey Bloom don’t fail to impress with a new pumping and uplifting style while maintaining Haezer’s rough trademark sound. Definitely liking the direction he’s going now.

For those who live in or around Vienna: We are celebrating our birthday and have invited Haezer to our birthday party at the Fluc Wanne on November 12, 2011 – you don’t want to miss this party, I promise.
