“One of my favourite melodies on the record. This track really does sound like a race to me, like the two synths are trying to catch up to each other, pushing at different rates but never really overcoming one or the other.”
– Felix Cartal
– not much to add to that: The Race, track no. 8 from Felix Cartal‘s upcoming album Different Faces (out on March 27; iTunes preorder here) is a haunting yet catchy track that keeps pushing straight forward from the first beat to the last – getting that little melody stuck in your ears forever faster than you can say Domo. Enough words: The Race is available for streaming exclusively on discodemons.net – hit play and turn up the volume!
As you might have noticed, Domo is playing in the background during the intro – obviously, this is what happens when DJs produce a full-length album: All the tracks on Different Faces blend smoothly into each other just like a perfect DJ mix, turning the album into one solid piece of music rather than ten single tracks.
Stay tuned for an interview with the man himself soon!
