Alright, I’m still in recovery mode but somehow managed to stuff some clean clothes in a backpack, so this might be the last blog post for a few days: I’m leaving tomorrow morning for the biggest electronic dance music festival in the world. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out the official after movie for 2011’s festival:
Held in the town of Boom, Belgium every year since 2005, Tomorrowland has become the biggest festival of its kind worldwide by now. Once again, the line-up reads like a who is who in electronic dance music, with more than 400 DJs from all over the world, covering almost every facet of electronic music. The contingent of 180.000 tickets for this year’s event was sold out within a few hours, with almost 2 million people missing out on tickets.
For those of you who didn’t get tickets to this year’s madness, Tomorrowland and YouTube have partnered up for Tomorrowland TV, broadcasting six hours of live HD television across the three days, including live sets, interviews and backstage gossip. Make sure to tune in on Tomorrowland’s YouTube channel, each day of the festival (starting on Friday) from 7PM until 2AM CEST!
I will be in Brussels July 25 + 26, and then at Tomorrowland festival July 27 – 30. Feel free to email me or drop a comment here if you’re around and feel like meeting up for a beer or two…
