Laundry Day Festival 2012 | Review + Photos

Taking place right in the city of Antwerp, Belgium, Laundry Day is one of the biggest and most definitely craziest festival for electronic dance music in Europe. This years edition was held on September 1st, 2012, being headlined by some of the most interesting names in electro, techno and house, such as Mumbai Science, Gtronic, Aeroplane, Ego Troopers, Modek, Paul Chambers and Sound Of Stereo, just to name a few.

I’ve been invited by the festival and Tourism Flanders on a trip all the way up to Belgium, visiting not only the festival but also doing some sightseeing in the lovely cities of Gent and Antwerp – you can read about that and check out the amazing photos here. As for Laundry Day, I think it’s safe to say I’ve had a blast there, meeting so many nice people from all over the world and partying with them at this crazy little festival. Modek and Mumbai Science definitely played the biggest sets at the festival, even though with dancers, fireworks and big lasers pretty everything looks (and sounds) good.

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, so here are some of the photos I took at Laundry Day festival. You might notice that towards the end some happen to be a bit blurry, but what can I say – beers don’t drink themselves!
