Alright, I’ve been pretty busy working on some new tunage lately but it’s been a while since I actually finished something. Better late than never, though, so here’s a very personal tribute to who I believe was one of the most remarkable persons of our time – not only in a musical way: Gil Scott-Heron.
The track is a deep house jam, mainly based on I’m New Here but also featuring samples from six other tracks of the self-titled 2010 album (his last one ever), including Where Did The Night Go, New York Is Killing Me, Running and three spoken interludes. Free 320kbps download.
Rest in peace.
