Another great month for music! After taking a little winter-nap some of my favorite labels and artists returned to bringing us the perfect sound for the start into the club-year.

But let´s start from the beginning (of my mix):
Baskerville released their second EP on BNR Trax with the title track “DumDumDum” – a real banger. It´s the 25th release on BNR Trax and again the (sub-)label does not fail.
Bad Life can be found in this month’s mix with 2 releases. Sound of Stereo´s “Push Me” is dark and perfect for the late hours and Attaque´s “Blinded be the Moonlight”, featuring Petite Noir, is an instant hit, that has been played by my DJ-colleagues for months. I really dig the BS1 remix and will for sure play it out loud and proud in the next weeks ands months.
It must have been years, since I last played a Gregor Tresher track, but it seems like finally we found each other again. “Relevance” is a great and bumping Techno track!
John Roman, who turned out to be one of the great discoveries of 2012, returns with an excellent remix for Vails´ “FSK”. Riton brings Ed Banger back to my attention – which it lost a bit in the last year. Duke Dumont does not disappoint with the first release on his own label Blasé Boys Club and I am really looking forward to seeing him live soon.
Also Mumbai Science released a new EP, and though “Impact” is not exactly a redefinition of their sound, it is a good tool.
Bart B More´s “Jack” is another of his trademark bangers. He might also be known for more subtle tracks, but he definitely knows how to make straight, dirty club-bangers for the masses, without going too mainstream.
And I wanna conclude this article with another reference to one of my favorite producers right now: Jägerverb delivered an awesome remix of Madame´s “Trakth”. And, what a coincidence, he will soon be in Austria for the first time. His tour is presented by discodemons.net – watch out: www.discodemons.net/jagerverb
