Hey peeps, thanks for coming by. My name is Rainer (or Ryan Riot when the night starts) and I’m a producer and DJ from Zuerich, Switzerland. I know Jakob Disco Demons for a few years now and by the beginning of this year he asked me if wanna contribute something on his infamous blog every then and when. Well, here I am.
I’m happy to share my monthly mixtape series with you guys. The Indie-Dance Report contains my favourite Indie-Dance (no shit?), Nu-Disco and Electropop tracks of the current month. I will also pick out some artists from each mix which I think deserve more attention. If you think you did something awesome by yourself, let me know about and upload it to my Soundcloud Dropbox. I hope you guys find something you like. Enjoy.

This month’s cool cats:
(free downloads, yay!)
► Dragon Suplex (Zuerich, Switzerland)
Some local support for my mates of Dragon Suplex. Phillip and Treezy are doing music together, since they went to the Kindergarten. Their à jour Disco-House gets a unique touch from their huge Vintage-Synthie collection and the classy 80’s sounds. They just have been signed to Moonbooticas label Moonbotique (Wow, almost as creative as the title of my mixtape series!) and they will go places.
► Rory Phillips (London, UK)
Not really a newcomer, but worrysome disregarded. Rory has done a few wicked Indie-Remixes for the likes oft The XX, New Young Pony Club or Gossip. His „Mixed Fortunes“ – series is pure DJ-Gold and finds it’s way in almost all of my sets.
► Juveniles (Rennes, France)
Yuksek’s new protegés came on my radar, with their excellent single „We Are Young“ – a supercatchy Electropop track, which was even better after got the Yan Wagner remix treatment. Juveniles‘ debut Album will be out on the 10th june and another new track (feat. Yuksek) is set for a release on may the 13th.
► The Knocks (New York, USA)
The New York based duo is one the most ecletic acts out there and their output is fucking massive. Over 50 tracks in the past 3 year and almost any of them is good. Lots of free stuff as well. Check it out.
What would Bill Murray do?
